Morning Walk: Meet for a 10 am start at The Five Bells, 14 Church Lane, Bugbrooke, Northampton, postcode NN7 3PB, what3words: embers.greed.suffice. Meet outside the pub for an easy scenic walk along the canal passing through Nether Heyford with a drinks stop on the famous five acre village green. The pub is due to open towards the end of 2025 therefore we have an opportunity to have refreshments after the walk. There is a large car park on the opposite side of the road near to the church.

Afternoon Walk: Meet for 1230 start on The Green in front of the Romer Arms, Newnham, Postcode NN11 3HB, GR SP 57771 59582, OS Explorer map 206, what3words: tripling.tidal.handbags. Starting from Newnham, we take field paths alongside a stream beneath the willows to Badby. We stroll through Badby woods to admire a stunning display of bluebells carpeting the woodland floor [Mother nature obliging].
Before walking back to Newnham, we stop at the Village Hall in Badby where tea and cake is available to purchase, bring cash/card for your tea and cake.  What better way to finish a stroll through the woods with a pot of tea and homemade cake. The walk contains 5 stiles. Please park considerately in the village.

Evening Walk: Meet for 1900 hrs start in the car park of The Fox & Hounds, Harlestone Road, Northampton, Postcode NN7 4EW, GR SP 70666 64459, OS Explorer map 223, what3words: adopt.asleep.live. This is a walk containing 3 stiles through tranquil woodland and peaceful fields, it includes walking through two woods, Harlestone Firs and Lower Harlestone.  Harlestone Firs brings beautiful bluebells carpeting the woodland floor; and Lower Harlestone brings wild garlic with white starry flowers carpeting the woodland floor.  We follow field paths to Upper Harlestone with ever-changing views.

This is a circular walk on fields edges and using farm tracks walking via Brafield-on-the-Green back lanes. The walk contains 3 stiles and has a short distance of road walking. Please park with consideration for others in the village and make your own arrangements for lunch.

This is an easy circular walk using bridleways and grassy footpaths via Pytchley. The walk takes in five fields and contains up to 6 stiles. Lunch available at The Red Lion at 1 pm. Evening Walk: Meet for 1900 hrs start in the rear car park of St Mary the Virgin Church in Great Brington, Postcode NN7 4JB.This is an elliptical walk containing approx. 5 stiles taking us between the Bringtons by way of a very picturesque route. We will take a break halfway stopping on Gawburrow Hill, then heading on towards Little Brington and returning via Althorp. The route is a little hilly.

Morning Walk: Meet for a 1000 start at All Saints Church, Church Street, Brixworth,  Postcode NN6 9DF, what3words: bridges.skunks.broadens. Starting from the church car park we will head to the north footpath to the top of Pitsford reservoir. With fine views to our right we will follow the footpath back along the reservoir where we will have a drink stop then continue through the back ways of the village to the church. The walk contains several stiles. If not parking in the church car park please ensure considerate parking in the village.

Evening Walk: Meet for a 1900 hrs start at the Britannia Inn, Bedford Road, Northampton, Postcode NN4 7AA. This is a flat walk mainly along the Nene Way. We head along past Northampton Active Centre and continue to Midsummer Meadow. The footpath takes us through the grounds of Northampton university before heading back towards the Britannia Inn via the lake and rugby sports ground. Please be aware of parking restrictions in the pub car park; parking is available on the road close by.

A walk along paths and bridle ways to Upton Country Park and back, passing through the wildlife reserve and taking in parts of the Nene Valley Way.  Flat, easy walking, no stiles. Parking is limited so please park with consideration in the village. An easy circular walk taking  us through classic Northamptonshire countryside containing some lovely views. The walk contains one short flight of steps (with handrail) and no stiles. We will start next to the war memorial. A mainly flat walk taking us across fields to Ecton then heading south to Cogenhoe Mill via Commanders Spinney. We then head eastwards to Whiston Lock along the River Nene; finally walking back up to Earls Barton through the old gravel pits. The walk contains no stiles. We will walk through parts of West Hunsbury to the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal returning via Briar Hill. The walk contains no stiles and is all on good paths / tow paths.

Morning Walk: Meet for a 1000 start at The Stag, Harborough Road, Maidwell, Northampton, Postcode NN6 9JA. We walk to the Brampton Valley Way then follow this for approx. 2 miles. We use a combination of surfaces, all good for easy walking. Next we move onto an ascent which at a steady pace will be fine and will provide us with far reaching amazing views across the countryside. Thereafter we have solid pathways, mainly downhill taking us back to The Stag.  Lunch available at The Stag, at 1pm. Evening Walk: Meet for a 1900 hrs start a Stoke Bruerne Church car park, Shutlanger Road for those using sat nav Postcode NN12 7SA, GR SP 740499, OS Explorer map 207, what3words: pest.footballers.crispy.  This is a circular walk from the carpark, making our way across fields following footpaths towards Shutlanger. From Shutlanger following footpaths  toward the woodland walk above Blisworth tunnel. From there we follow the footpath across a couple of fields and then into Stoke Bruerne, crossing over the canal and returning to the carpark. There is one low stile (1 x Stile) on the walk. Cost of parking £2.

Morning Walk: Meet for a 1000 start at the green where Little Street meets High Street, Yardley Hastings. Postcode NN7 1ER. Using tracks, field edges, lanes and a small amount of road walking this is generally a countryside field walk. We will stop at Easton Maudit for our break at the local church. Then we will make our way back to Yardley Hastings. The walk contains three stiles and livestock in some fields. This is a pleasant walk taking us around the washlands of the Nene Valley. We return following on a stretch of canal towpath. Do not park in the Britannia pub car park as this is restricted; fines are hefty!

This varied circular walk follows the countryside between two charming villages, Milton Malsor and Blisworth.  It contains 4 stiles and includes a stretch of towpath beside the Grand Union Canal to the Blisworth Tunnel.  The route then climbs away from the canal, leading to field paths providing fine views over the surrounding countryside.  The walk has a very short stretch of road walking.  Refreshments available after the walk at The Greyhound.

This is mainly a flat walk containing only 2 stiles. During the walk we visit the sister villages of Little and Great Brington including the hamlet of Nobottle. We also pass the imposing Althorp House. At the end of the walk we have the possibility for a drink in the pub.

A countryside walk through a mixture of open farmland and woodland, along footpaths, bridleways and farm tracks. We will pass by Whittlebury deer park, once a royal hunting forest, and where you can see many ancient oak trees. We will also pass Sholebrook Lodge, a listed building, once the home of the deputy warden of the Whittlewood Forest.  Please park with consideration for others in the village and make your own arrangements for lunch.

Evening Walk: Meet at 1900 hrs off the Bedford Road as you turn right and right again towards Northampton Water Centre; this road offers good parking. The nearest Postcode is NN4 7YB. GR SP 777595, OS Explorer map 223 and what3words: envy.trees.drop. A gentle walk containing 2 stiles following footpaths to Brackmills Country Park, skirting the edge of the park to connect with the disused railway line leading towards Great Houghton. We will walk down through Great Houghton, across A428 then walk across the fields to The Washlands. Finally we make our way back along the Washland edge to the Water Centre and cars. Do not park in the Britannia pub car park as this is restricted; fines are hefty!

Meet on the pavement in front of the pub car park. From here we will follow the towpath from Weedon to Nether Heyford. Leaving the towpath, we make our way across fields to the A5, crossing the A5 we follow the road to Church Stowe. After a short stop we make our way across fields to pick up the towpath for the return to Weedon. The walk contains 1 x bridge stile. Please park with consideration within the village and make your own arrangements for lunch.

Afternoon Walk: Meet for a 1300 hrs start at the entrance to Harlestone Firs, Harlestone Road, Northampton, Postcode NN5 6UJ, GR SP 71125 63693, OS Explorer map 223, what3words: spends.fans.heave.The walk includes woodland, pretty cottages and an ornamental lake. We follow field paths to Harlestone Firs, the picturesque villages of Lower Harlestone with ever changing views to Upper Harlestone. Before walking back, we stop at St Andrews Church where tea and homemade cake is available to purchase; bring cash/card for your purchase! If the temperature is hot we will have a couple of brief water stops however the main break will be at the church. The walk contains 3 stiles. There is a layby outside the garden centre for parking.

Morning Walk: Meet for a 1000 hrs start at All Saints Church, School Lane, Harpole, Postcode  NN7 4DJ, OS Explorer map 223, what3words: gallons.rams.feels. We walk towards Harlestone then turn south west towards Nobottle, skirting Yewtree Spinney and Nobottle Wood; then head back via Harpole Covert. The walk has no stiles and contains a small amount of road walking on minor roads. Please park with consideration within the village and make your own arrangements for lunch.
